CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Ministerium will hold a prayer march on Martin Luther King Day titled “Remembering Courage.”
According to Rev. Matt Holbert the event is being held to remember the works of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. done for the glory of God and equality.
The event is scheduled for Jan. 19. Gathering will begin at noon at the Zion AME Church, with the walk to follow at 12:15 p.m. The march will lead to the Clearfield County Courthouse. Opening prayer at the church will be lead by Judy Bookhammer with the closing prayer to be lead by Rev. Holbert of St. John Lutheran, president of Ministerium. A guest speaker will speak at the Courthouse.
In the event of inclement weather the gathering and event will be held at fellowship hall of the Presbyterian Church.
