CURWENSVILLE – A 20-year-old Grampian female could face charges after removing and forging a pre scri ption from the DuBois Regional Medical Center – PCA, Curwensville, on Dec. 30.
According to the report, the female went for a doctor’s appointment. Upon leaving the office, she removed a blank pre scri ption from the certified registered nurse practitioner’s work area.
Police said the female, then, left the office and forged the pre scri ption. She took the forged pre scri ption to City Drug in Curwensville to be filled.
The incident is still under investigation. Charges of theft, forgery and Act 64 violations are currently pending.
