DECATUR TOWNSHIP –Two men who have been linked to a burglary at Long’s Bus Service and another at Douglas Drilling, both Philipsburg-based businesses, were recently charged, the Clearfield State Police reported yesterday.
Police reported that Kenneth Chelton, Jr., 19 of Winburne, and Paul Dunlap, 21 of Philipsburg, were charged in both cases.
According to a previous report from Dec. 19, the suspects entered the Long’s Bus Service building sometime between 6 p.m. Dec. 18 and 5 a.m. Dec. 19. Police reported that once inside, the suspects removed several electronic devices before fleeing the scene.
Police did not indicate if any damage was done to the building. An estimated value of the total items loss was not provided in that initial report.
Both men were also charged for a separate burglary that occurred between 10 p.m. Dec. 9 and 8 a.m. Dec. 10.
No further information was provided regarding the incident. Police could not be reached for additional case details prior to press time.
