Changes to Curwensville Baseball and Softball Schedules Announced

CURWENSVILLE – The wet, cold weather has forced the Curwensville baseball and softball squads to make several changes to their respective 2008 schedules.

Tuesday was no different, as the Tide baseball game with DuBois Central Catholic was postponed and will be played Wednesday at Curwensville. Game time will be 4:15 pm.

The Lady Tide softball game with DuBois Central Catholic (DCC) scheduled for Wednesday at DCC has been moved to Curwensville instead. That game will also start at 4:15 pm and will include both varsity and junior varsity action.

Both games were moved to Curwensville due to the current conditions of the fields at DCC. The Tide baseball team will now travel to DCC on 5/1 and the softball squad will visit the Lady Cardinals on 5/12, with both games beginning at 4:15 pm. Those games were originally scheduled as home games for Curwensville.

Athletic Director Allen Leigey of Curwensville Area High School also announced that the Clearfield at Curwensville softball game that was cancelled on Monday has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at Curwensville, starting at 4:15 pm.
