Indiana Man Injured in Auto Accident

BURNSIDE TOWNSHIP – State police in Punxsutawney reported that an Indiana man was injured following an accident along state Route 219 on Sunday morning.

David Iseman was traveling south on SR 219. While approaching a sharp right curve he allowed his vehicle to drift. His vehicle left the road and struck a ditch. The vehicle struck the emankment and continued to travel in a southerly direction in the ditch. The right rear of the vehicle struck and rode up on a guide rail. The vehicle then went broadside and overturned, coming to rest on the roadway on its roof, facing a south direction.

Iseman was transported to Conemaugh Hospital by Citizens Ambulance Service. Police were also assisted at the scene by both Burnside and Cherry Tree Volunteer Fire Departments.
