No. 5 Lady Eagles split final day of Rebel Games

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Lock Haven\’s softball squad (12-5, 0-0 PSAC West) split in their final day of action in the Sunshine State as they fell to Caldwell College in game number one and defeated Dominican College in game two of the Rebel Games.

Game number one again saw LHU\’s bat struggle as they failed to score a run as they fell to Caldwell 1-0.

LHU garnered two hits in the contest, one by Amanda Roosa (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) and another from Brittany Muthard (Northampton, Pa./Northampton).

Kristin Erb (Reading, Pa./Exeter) picked up the loss for the Lady Eagles as she allowed two hits and one earned run in the defeat.

Game two saw LHU\’s bats liven up as they defeated Dominican 9-1.

LHU took care of business with nine runs off 11 hits for the game including a two-run double by Missy Kurian (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) in the sixth inning.

LHU is next in action on March 20, when they take on Gannon when both teams take part in the Salem Tournament in Salem, Va.
