Work Begins on Walltown Bridge

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT placed a three ton posting Thursday on the Walltown Bridge along state Route 3011, near the village of Grampian.

Over the next week to ten days, PennDOT Maintenance crews from Clearfield County will work to make repairs to the beam ends of the bridge in order to remove the posting. The repairs are not expected to impact traffic.

The bridge is thirty-one feet long, carries almost 300 vehicles a day and was built in 1934.

PennDOT reminds motorists to drive with caution and always buckle up.
