Grant Jackson, 1979 Game 7 World Series Winner, This Week on Sport Sunday

CLEARFIELD – Former Pittsburgh Pirate pitcher Grant Jackson is this weeks guest on WOKW’s, (102.9), “Sports Sunday” at 9:15 am with Dave Marino and Bear Stewart.

Jackson, who pitched for the Pirates from 1977-1981 and again in 1982, was the winning pitcher in game 7 of the 1979 World Series as the Pirates beat the Baltimore Orioles 4 games to 3. “The Navasky Foundation For Life” friend and supporter had a career record of 86-75 with 79 saves and an ERA of 3.46.
