CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners authorized a deed to KCL Enterprises for the temporary construction and sewer relocation easements for the location of the new public welfare office building at Tuesday’s regular meeting.
Kim Kesner, county solicitor, said the township has asked KCL Enterprises to make enhancements to the lot.
As a result, KCL Enterprises must obtain a temporary grading easement.
“They have to go in and regrade the water basin on the county’s residual lot in order for the storm water produced by the new building to be effective,” Kesner said.
He said this is the result of the Department of Environmental Protection’s increased storm water regulations.
In addition, Kesner said KCL Enterprises wants to relocate the current sewer line, which serves the 911 building. “Right now, the line would be sitting under the corner of the new building.”
KCL Enterprises will give an easement to relocate the line, he said.
Kesner said KCL Enterprises wanted to schedule a closing for this week, but he didn’t think that was feasible.
