Former Major Leaguer Darry Strawberry This Week on Sports Sunday

CLEARFIELD – Former Major League outfielder Darryl Strawberry is this weeks guest on WOKW’s, (102.9), “Sports Sunday” at 9:15 am with Dave Marino and Bear Stewart.

Strawberry, who started with the New York Mets, was a member of four World Series winners. One with the Mets in 1986 and three with the New York Yankees in 1996, 1998 and 1999. “The Navasky Foundation For Life” friend and supporter was the first overall choice in the 1980 Major League Baseball Entry Draft and won National League Rookie of the Year in 1983 while with the Mets.
