Huston Township Fire Ruled Accidental

HUSTON TOWNSHIP – The DuBois State Police reported an accidental fire around 5 p.m. Thursday at a Huston Township residence in Clearfield County.

The Penfield Volunteer Fire Department called the State Police Fire Marshal to the scene in order to help determine the nature of the fire.

According to the report, the fire marshal said a cigarette started the fire after an examination of physical evidence at the scene.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.
