CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. announced that a short interactive survey is now available on their Web site for the public. The survey provides a quick way for older residents of this county to comment on what worries them about the present and the future as it relates to their quality of life.
Anyone interested in completing the survey can go to the AAA Web site and click on the link called “What’s on Your Mind? Take Our Survey.” The first few questions capture some facts about the person completing the survey. The remaining questions delve into the person’s concerns about health, living at home, safety, financial security, and other aspects related to their ability to live independently at home.
The survey can be completed in less than 5 minutes and can be submitted electronically. If someone would like to take the survey but does not have a computer with internet access at home, he may visit any senior center or Center for Active Living in Clearfield County to use the computers at those sites. As another option, the survey can be printed on paper and the responder can answer the questions using a pen or pencil then mail it to the Agency.
Survey results will be compiled and used by the agency to help build their service plan for the next four years (2008-2012). Responders are not asked to identify themselves or provide any personal information.
If you need more information about this survey or the Four Year Planning Process, call 1-800-225-8571 or 765-2696.
Programs and services of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging are funded in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Mature Resources Foundation, and local and client contributions.
