CLEARFIELD COUNTY – The National Weather Service has put Clearfield County under a flood watch until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.
According to the NWS, the best chance for flooding will be in low lying areas such as along streams or creeks or where drainage is normally a problem. A flood watch means that flooding is possible but not imminent.
Due to recent precipitation and melt-off, the Susquehanna River is just one of many local water systems that is running high.
