Car Dealer Burglarized in Jefferson County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – State police in DuBois reported that S and S Auto Sales along state Route 219 was burglarized between Friday and Saturday.

According to police someone slipped the lock and rummaged through the office and garage area. The person then left the scene with three-to-four car stereos valued at $100 each, Craftsman impact wrenches valued at $90, Iron Jack stands valued at $50, a Torx bit set valued at $30, two gallons of antifreeze valued at $15, a box of garbage bags valued at $5 and duct tape valued at $3.

While fleeing the scene the person backed into a small 1993 Ford Ranger.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
