Foul Play not Suspected in Death of Body Found at Moshannon Creek

PHILIPSBURG – New information has been released concerning a body found in Moshannon Creek Wednesday.

State police in Clearfield reported foul play is not suspected in death of the as-of-yet unidentified body. Police state that the identification of the body will follow pending the autopsy.

Trooper Terry Jordan told GantDaily that the body was spotted around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators and emergency responders braved the cold until the body could be recovered.
