Philipsburg Men Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg announced the arrest of two Philipsburg residents accused of possessing child pornography.

Paul Taylor Holmes, 49, and Kevin Thomas Aitkin, 30, were taken into custody on Friday. Both men were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair and placed in Centre County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bail.

Police stated that a computer was seized and examined. Police reported that the computer had large quantities of video clips of what is believed to be child pornography.

Both men have preliminary hearings scheduled for Jan. 30.
