Grampian One Stop Burglarized, One Suspect Apprehended

GRAMPIAN – State police in Clearfield reported that the Grampian One Stop was burlgarized on Monday morning and that one of the suspects has been apprehended.

According to police a 21-year-old Clearfield man and an 18-year-old Woodland man smashed the front glass door with a brick to gain entry to the building. Once inside they allegedly took cigarettes, beef jerky, Slim Jims, candy bars and soda. The total fo the stolen goods was listed at $764.17.

James Alford Wise Jr., 21, was apprehended a short distance from the scene and was arraigned on burglary charges before Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford and placed in Clearfield County Jail.

An arrest warrant was issued for his alleged accomplice. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact state police in Clearfield.
