PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg announced that charges have been filed against a 25-year-old Philipsburg man in connection with a rash of automobile break-ins that happened on Dec. 5.
Police did not say if the man had been arraigned. Police served a search warrant on the man, a Lochlomond Road resident. Troopers found him in possession of a number of stolen items. He reportedly admitted to taking them from unlocked cars in the area on Dec. 5.
State police are in possession of a number of items whose owners have yet to be identified. Anyone in the area who feels they might have lost items from inside their vehicles on Dec. 5 should contact state police in Philipsburg.
