Curwensville Playground Passes Final Inspection

CURWENSVILLE – The new playground at Irwin Park has passed its final inspection. Deemed safe by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the equipment will be ready for use when the park opens on Memorial Day 2008.

Curwensville Borough Council President Dave McNaul notes that, although people may enter the park any time of the year, the park is closed between Labor Day and Memorial Day.

Using the park during the closed season is done so on an “enter at your own risk” basis.

Irwin Park is located on State Route 453 heading south out of Curwensville toward Tyrone.
