CURWENSVILLE – A 22-year-old Curwensville resident was arrested following a number of alleged assaults outside of the Smokehouse in Curwensville.

State police in Clearfield reported that Brooks Wayne Collins reportedly got into an altercation with an ex-girlfriend. When she and five other people left the Smokehouse, Collins allegedly assaulted each of them.

Three of the alleged victims were treated at the scene by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services and transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment. The other three suffered minor injuries.

Collins was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland. He was placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

State police were assisted by the Lawrence Township Police Department and Clearfield Borough Police Department.
