Sandy Township Approves 2008 Buget

DUBOIS – Sandy Township residents will not see a tax increase in 2008.

The Sandy Township Supervisors approved the 2008 budget Monday night. The budget consists of liquid fuels funds in the amount of $960,000, a general fund of $3,282,058 and a municipal fund of $1,981,000 for a total of $6,223,558.

The millage in the township will remain the same as last year. Based on an estimated total assessed value of $105,472,924, each mill represents $105,472.94.
