CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County’s partnership in the Pennsylvania Wilds program is paying off in more ways than one.
According to Sandy Fink Barrett, director the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority, the CCRTA received two 42-inch LED screens and towers. One is located in the CCRTA’s office in Clearfield, the other in the DuBois Visitor Center.
The systems can double as a live visual for training purposes and allow visitors to look up information.
Barrett said that visitors will be able to print directions to area destinations and print confirmations.
She added that the county is starting to see gains by joining the Wilds, both in tourism and promotional items.
“I’m really excited,” said Barrett.
