Bisons Pick up Win Versus Rival DuBois

Keystone-The story for the Bisons tonight once again was too many turnovers, but the difference between Saturday night and Friday night was the Bisons were able to keep those turnovers from turning into points. “We still turned the ball over a lot tonight, the difference was they were aggressive turnovers that didn’t lead to easy buckets for DuBois like they did for St.Marys,” said Clearfield Coach Forrest Campman.

Though the Bisons once again committed 20+ turnovers, a few players were again able to put together good games according to Campman. “Drew Hipps was very active tonight and put together a pretty solid game. Jarrin Campman was also able to make some nice plays tonight. Matt Shiner played well too scoring in double digits again tonight, but the guy who probably had the best game tonight was Cruise Kerr who was very active all night.”

It had to feel good for the young Bisons to pick up their first win tonight against rival DuBois, and Campman hopes it will lead to a string of wins. “We needed to get a win, and it puts us at 1-1 with Central Mountain coming to play us Monday and hopefully we can build on it.”
