CLEARFIELD – Gene Kephart, Executive Director of Cen-Clear Child Services, Inc.announced that the agency has been awarded a $500 grant from The Baltimore Life Companies. Funds will be used to support BabySafe Home, a project designed to provide a safe home environment for infants and toddlers enrolled in the Early Head Start program in Centre and Clearfield Counties.
CCS provides a wide range of services for more than 3,300 children in Clearfield, Centre, and portions of adjoining counties. The agency is the provider of Head Start and Early Head Start in Centre and Clearfield Counties, currently serving 822 children and their families through these programs.
The Baltimore Life Companies made this grant award as part of its community grants program.
According to Mr. Kephart, “We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from The Baltimore Life Companies. These dollars will allow us to provide baby gates, cabinet locks and electrical outlet plugs for families that need them.”
