CLEARFIELD – A 31-year-old Osceola Mills man waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday on charges that he raped a young boy from 1996 to 1998.
Police learned of the incidents, which happened when the boy was 5 to 7 years old in March. He said that Christoper A. Pusey would touch him with his genitals and would attempt to have anal sex with him.
The alleged victim in the case said he told his girlfriend about the incidents that happened when he was a child while at a religious camp in July 2006. The girlfriend then told him that he needed to tell his parents.
The alleged victim told police that he waited to tell his parents until after Christmas last year because he did not want to cause problems in the family so close to the holiday.
Pusey was interviewed by police in September, according to court records. Pusey admitted to touching the alleged victim inappropriately.
Pusey remains free on unsecured bail.
He is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.
