Three Injured in Auto Accident in Pike Township

CURWENSVILLE – Three area residents were injured as a result of an automobile accident outside of Curwensville on Sunday evening.

According to Clearfield-based state police, a 32-year-old Philipsburg man was stopped at a sign on state Route 3007 at the intersection of SR 453. A vehicle driven by Scott Crago of Clearfield was northbound on SR 453 and approaching the intersection of SR 3007. The Philipsburg man failed to yield the right of way to Crago and pulled into the intersection, causing the vehicles to strike.

Crago, his passenger Heidi Steiner of Olanta and the Philipsburg man were all taken by ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.

The Philipsburg man will be cited.
