Healing After Loss Meeting Planned at DRMC

DUBOIS – DuBois Regional Medical Center Home Health & Hospice offers a support group called Healing After Loss, which offers support, education, and validation for adults dealing with the loss of a loved one.

The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fugate Room at DRMC West on Hospital Avenue. The next meeting will be held Nov. 6.

The group is open to the public at no cost, and there is no need to register. Debra Thomas, Home Health and Hospice manager, is facilitator of the group.

Healing After Loss offers support and friendship. It provides information on the grieving process in a warm and caring atmosphere. No one is forced to talk. It is a safe place to share experiences and feelings.

A grief program for children, “HUGS for Kids,” is also offered by DRMC Home Health & Hospice.
