Police Investigate Choking at Philipsburg Elementary

PHILIPSBURG – State police at the Philipsburg barracks were called to the Philipsburg Elementary School on Friday for a report of harassment. Information on the incnident was just released Thursday morning.

Police report that an 11-year-old Philipsburg boy shoved and choked an 8-year-old Philipsburg boy while the two were in the boys’ bathroom at the school.

Charges have been filed in the incident, and police report that the incident was handled within the department.
