Police report that the detail was conducted in an effort to cut down on the recent rise in vandalism and theft incidents that have been reported in the borough.

Three juveniles were cited after being observed starting a fight at the Ritz Theater. Police also cited two people after plain-clothes police officers observed them throwing things out of their vehicles.

Plain-clothes officers also saw several traffic violations that were relayed to patrol cars.
