CLEARFIELD – PennDOT will complete paving along Main Street (state Route 4019) in DuBois next week.
Work will begin Monday and run through Wednesday. Crews will finish the remainder of base paving from Rumbarger Avenue to the cemetery near DuBois Regional Medical Center. Finish paving will then take place from the VFW to the cemetery. Work will be done during daylight hours, beginning at 7 a.m. each day.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers in place to direct motorists. Parking will not be allowed during the work and motorists should expect delays. This work is schedule and weather dependent.
The work on Main Street is part of a PennDOT countywide, $4.9 million project.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. Inc. is the contractor on the project.
PennDOT reminds drivers to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
