Main Street DuBois to be Paved Saturday

CLEARFIELD – With milling completed Tuesday and Wednesday, PennDOT will perform initial paving along Main Street (state Route 4019) in DuBois Saturday.

The scratch course paving operation will stretch from the VFW building to the Rumbarger Cemetery near DuBois Regional Medical Center. Work will be done during daylight hours, beginning at 7a.m.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers in place to direct motorists. Parking will not be allowed during the work and motorists should expect delays. This work is schedule and weather dependent. Final paving along Main Street is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 9.

The work on Main Street is part of a PennDOT countywide, $4.9 million project.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. Inc. is the contractor on the project. PennDOT reminds drivers to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and always buckle-up.
