Car Wash to Benefit Community-Minded Student Activities

DUBOIS – The Penn State DuBois Human Development and Family Studies Club will hold a car wash September 22, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Wal-Mart parking lot off of Route 255, DuBois. The cost will be $3 for cars and $5 for trucks, vans and SUV’s.

All proceeds will benefit the Penn State DuBois HDFS Club’s efforts to aid children and the elderly in their community. Each year the club makes Thanksgiving and Easter gift baskets for area nursing home residents. Club members also host “Bring Kids to Campus Days”, where youngsters have the opportunity to spend time on a college campus, and play fun and educational games.
