Curwensville (0-2) at Brockway (1-1)

Brockway – Friday night the Curwensville Golden Tide travel to Brockway\’s Frank Varischetti Field to take on the Rovers. Having lost 4 of the last 5 battles with the Golden Tide Brockway is surely looking for a big win in week 3 AML action. You have to go back to 2003 to find the last time the Rovers pulled a win over the Tide.

Putting a week 1 loss to Cameron County (37-0) behind them, the Rovers head into Friday night pumped up from a morale boosting win over AML rival Ridgway (41-19).

The Tide is hoping to step it up in week 3.  Having lost by an average of 35.5 points in their first two weeks the Tide need a win.

Will Brockway\’s QB Matt Pentz be on target again this week?  Last week Pentz completed 8 of 12 passes, 2 of which were touch downs, with a total of 168 yards.

Will Curwensville let turnovers double the score against them again?  The Tide turned the ball over 6 times last week in their loss to ECC. The Crusaders scored 28 of their 53 points in the 53-20 trouncing by capitalizing on Tide turnovers.

Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
