Two Clearfield Organizations Receive Funding at the Fair

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Fair and Park Board and the Old Town Sportsmen’s Association received grant monies from State Rep. Camille “Bud” George Tuesday night at the Clearfield County Fair.

George first presented the Fair and Park Board with a check for $20,000. These monies are to be utilized for building a new David H. Litz grove Stage.

Mentioning that these monies were earmarked for nonprofit organizations, George said, “Many people benefit from the fruits of your work.”

Over 10,000 5-inch trout will be stocked from Curwensville, near the football field, downriver to Clearfield, near the Clearfield mall, on Oct. 14.
