Gate Admission and Advance Passes for Fair Explained

CLEARFIELD – The new gate admission for this year’s Clearfield County Fair is $6 for ages 4 through 65. The $6 gate admission includes all-day access to mechanical rides. Ages under 4 are admitted to the fairgrounds free; however, they will need to purchase a ride stamp at the carnival ticket booth at a minimal cost of $5. Last year gate admission was $3 and special pay-one-price ride days were offered at an extra cost of $12.

The change in the gate structure benefits fairgoers who ride by an average saving of $7 to $9 per person. Before the fair, an advance gate season pass made available for purchase to offer a discount to people who do not ride. The advance gate pass is good for entry into the park ONLY. These tickets do include a perforated ticket in case a person changes their mind and wish to ride; however, it will cost an additional $5. The perforated ticket is taken to the carnival ticket booth to purchase a ride stamp.

The policy is printed on the advance gate season pass and explained at the time of purchase.

The Fair & Park Board apologizes for any miscommunication that may have occurred with people who purchased the advance gate season pass.

Gate times are Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Tuesday 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Parking remains at $3.
