GULICH TOWNSHIP – Clearfield-based state police arrested a 66-year-old Brisbin man after he allegedly fired a gun at and threatened the life of a Houtzdale man.
According to the report, the Houtzdale man went to a location along state Route 2009 where he was confronted by Robert Greenaway. Greenaway allegedly shot the Houtzdale man’s vehicle and threatened that he was going to kill him.
A physical confrontation ensued and the incident escalated when Greenaway pointed a firearm at the Houtzdale man. The Houtzdale man then fled on foot after hearing what he believed to be the gun fired.
Greenaway is charged with criminal attempt to commit first degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, terroristic threats and related charges. He was arraigned and placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
