CLEARFIELD – On Monday, PennDOT will begin bridge repair work on abutments and footers for five bridges in Centre and Clearfield counties.
Crews will begin repairs on a bridge in Hanes Township, Centre County, along Route 2018. The bridge spans a tributary to Pine Creek. Crews will then move to a bridge on Route 1004 in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County. This bridge spans of branch of Montgomery Creek along Coal Hill Road. Work will then move to a bridge along Route 1008 in Goshen Township, Clearfield County that spans Trout Run.
Crews will eventually move to two other bridges in Clearfield County and then to bridges in Clinton, Juniata, Mifflin and Potter counties.
PennDOT will provide an update on this work later this summer.
The contractor on the $458,483.68 job is LTT Trucking. Work on each bridge should take two to three weeks, with completion for all bridge repair work in mid-December.
All work is weather dependent.
