DuBois Designer Showhouse Premiering in October

DUBOIS – The DuBois Designer Showhouse originally scheduled for a summer opening has been changed to Oct. 5 through Oct. 19.

This massive restoration project had some unforseen construction issues that have taken longer to address than expected. This project was
designed to highlight and improve a neglected downtown property, promote local talent and of all kinds and promote the downtown in general as a place to live, work, play and invest.

Fundraising for Downtown DuBois is achieved through ticket sales of $10 per person when the house is opened to the public in October. The house will be completey restored or repaired. Each room has a designated interior designer that will decorate their room from top to bottom
with gorgeous draperies, lighting, furniture, linens and accessories as well as beautiful decorative paint and wallpaper techniques. These are modern designs with a nod to the past. Organizers say that if you love design, historic preseravation or just enjoy seeing something unique, this is the event.
