Rail Maintenance Facility Goes Up in Flames

DUBOIS – Shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday, the DuBois City Fire Department was called to the Rescar facility on Osborn Street for a working structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found the paint shop area of the facility in flames. Rescar provides many services including railcar repair from the DuBois shop. The company has more than 100 service locations in the United States and Canada.

Fire crews from DuBois, Brockway, Sandy Township, Reynoldsville, and Falls Creek were called to assist the city.

The American Red Cross was also on scene along with Amserv / Dusan Ambulance.
