Grand Funk Railroad Parties Down with Clearfield

CLEARFIELD – Grand Funk Railroad paid a visit to Clearfield Saturday night to finalize Thrills in the Hills 2007.

And from the crowd’s reaction, the train was still running full steam after more than three deades in the music business.

By 7:30 p.m., most of the “good seats” were taken, and concert-goers crowded the stage to get a better view of The American Band.

Vendors were pleased with the turnout Saturday.

“I think it’s picking up pretty good,” said Joey Castagnolo of Steak-On-A-Stick.

The other motor event in the county during the weekend, Thrills on the Water, wrapped up Sunday.
