CLEARFIELD – Water line work through the month of July will restrict lanes along state Route 26 in College Township, Centre County. The work area is between the U.S. Route 322 interchange and state Route 3011 (Pike Street), with work taking place mostly at night (between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.).
Crews from D & M Contracting, working for the University Area Joint Authority will be placing 12-inch water line pipe and working in the center turn lane of SR 26.
The work will require lane restrictions along Route 26, with one lane each direction remaining open at all times. Some work may also take place during daylight hours. Signage will be in place to alert motorists to the lane restrictions.
Work is expected to last until Aug. 1.
