Scholarship Fund Created for PSU-Bound Mo Valley Grads

AMESVILLE – Moshannon Valley School District grads who want to attend the Pennsylvania State University will have a special opportunity for scholarship funds thanks to the work of David Zazworsky of State College.

Zazworsky is a retired state Department of Transportation secretary of transportation and a member of the state turnpike commission. He graduated from the former Madera School.

The fund is a $400,000 continuing scholarship bank that will be awarded to students attending Mo Valley who intend to go to Penn State for a higher degree.

The award favors low-income students. More information can be obtained by contacting the Moshannon Valley Junior-Senior High School.
