Grampian Scouts Aid in Davis Run Cleanup

GRAMPIAN – Recently members and family members of Cub Scout Pack No. 11 and Boy Scout Troop No. 11 both of Grampian, lent a helping hand volunteers from Grampian Borough, Penn Township, the Grampian Woman’s Club, the Anderson Creek Watershed Association and the Clearfield County Conservation District Office in cleaning up a portion of Davis Run that flows through Grampian from the community park past Grampian Hardware.

The scouts hope to continue and do another section continuing from Grampian Hardware and down through the Stronach Area later this summer.

While removing trash and debris, definite signs and sighting of fish and aquatic life were noted.
