DUBOIS – DuBois City Police received information from a man on Tuesday about a suspicious item he saw in a West Long Avenue Dumpster.
The man feared that the item was a dead baby in plastic, but upon police investigation, officers learned that it was a small dog that had been placed in the trash receptacle. The animal had been wrapped in plastic that was then taped shut.
Police are now asking that anyone with information on this incident to call city police at 375-2323.
