OSCEOLA MILLS – A 6-year-old and a 4-year-old escaped injury after the vehicle they were playing in was knocked out of gear and rolled down a hill.
Decatur Township Police say the children were in a vehicle parked off of Stone Street in Osceola Mills Borough Tuesday afternoon just after noon when one of the children started to roll down the windows. The child then bumped the gearshift, causing the vehicle to roll down the hill.
It traveled down the alley to Lingle Street where it struck a house.
Police said the owner of the vehicle will be cited for allowing the keys to remain in the vehicle.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Columbia Fire Co.
