Lawrence Township Officers Assist AG’s Office in Serving Warrants to Accused Drug Dealers

CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township Police Department in the Clearfield County Drug Task Force helped the Attorney General’s Bureua of Narcotics Unit in serving arrest warrants to accused drug dealers in Centre County.

Officer Mike Morris of the Lawrence Township Police Department, said that drug task forces from Clearfield, Lycoming and Centre Counties participated in the service of warrants. Morris said that the process was part of a year-long investigation by the AG’s office into the distribution of marijuana, cocaine and prescription medications being sold at the street level.

“It’s not a single municipality problem,” noted Morris.
