HARRISBURG, May 25 – State Rep. Camille “Bud” George, D-74 of Houtzdale, urged residents to take time to attend Memorial Day services this weekend to honor America’s heroes.
“This weekend, we remember the sacrifices of those who have died defending our freedom, as we should every day,” Rep. George said. “It should always remain a time of remembrance, thankfulness and recognition.”
Services over the weekend at which George is deeply honored to speak at include:
â— 10 a.m. Sunday at the Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery, Bradford Township.
â— 2 p.m. Sunday at the Summit Hill Methodist Church, Graham Township.
â— Noon Monday at the John H. Branic Post 8822 VFW Post, Madera.
â— 1 p.m. Monday at the Houtzdale American Legion services at the Brisbin Cemetery.
â— 2 p.m. Monday at the Stephen Kandrach VFW Post 6321, Janesville.
â— 3 p.m. Monday at Palcher Park, Ramey.
