PHILIPSBURG – GantDaily has received new information from news partner Channel 6 into the investigation of Dr. Larry Adams.
According to Channel 6, items were taken from Adams’ home and office, though what those items were could not be said. Nothing has been said to indicate that the investigation has anything to do with Philipsburg Hospital.
Channel 10 reported that the Attorney General’s office is involved in the investigation. James Ogden, a patient of Adams, was interviewed by Channel 10 and indicated that investigators were looking through files in Adams’ office while Ogden was there.
PHILIPSBURG – Details on the situation remain hard to come by, but state police were stationed at the office of Dr. Larry Adams in Philipsburg Friday morning.
State police at Philipsburg were unable to comment on the situation, but the Centre Daily Times said a source told staff members that the investigation into Adams’ home and office is narcotics-related.
Phone calls to Adams’ office Friday morning were directed to his voice mail.
Adams’ name is the only one listed on the sign at his Philipsburg office of Mid-State Medical Services.
A group of doctors led by Adams and called Rosewood Real Estate recently announced plans to re-open the Philipsburg Hospital. Adams had planned to open the emergency room of the hospital first with other services being offered at a later time.
