Bike Safety Program at Irvona Fire Hall

CLEARFIELD – Michael Ferrence Chiropractic and PennDOT’s Highway Safety Program are sponsoring a free bicycle safety program on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Irvona fire hall. This free bike safety program is for all children ages 5-14.

The bike safety program is an interactive program to teach kids about bicycle safety. All participants will watch a video on the rules of safe bike riding.

All boys and girls will learn the importance of wearing a helmet when riding their bike and to safety check their bicycle before riding.

Weather permitting, the children will have the opportunity to test their bike riding skills on an obstacle course. A helmet check will be done during the safety program, so all children are encouraged to bring their bike helmet.

A photo bike driver’s license will be issued to all participants.
