CURWENSVILLE – Customers of Curwensville-based CSB Bank recently received or will be receiving a letter from Wesley M. Weymers, bank president and CEO. In that letter, Weymers explains what customers can expect as the merger with Northwest Savings Bank is completed.
Weymers assured customers that many of the same employees will continue to serve them, and the merger is being done in a way so as to not inconvenience customers.
In about 10 days, current CSB customers can expect to receive a brochure describing any changes they can expect.
Weymers noted that he has received numerous questions about what customers should do with their CSB checks. He said Northwest will send customers everything they need from checks to new loan payment books. The terms and conditions of deposit or loan accounts will remain the same, the letter said.
Weymers also wrote, “Despite being a larger financial institution than CSB, Northwest operates as a ‘hometown bank’ and a model corporate citizen that helps make life in our communities better for everyone.”
Customers with questions or concerns before or after the merger is complete should call or stop at their local office or call CSB’s Customer Service Centre from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on weekdays or from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays at 877-672-5678 and choose option No. five to speak to a customer service representative.
